The Canadian Women Artists History Initiative is a collaborative endeavour to enhance scholarship on historical women artists in Canada. Based in the Department of Art History at Concordia University in Montreal, research is circulated into women’s contributions to the cultural and material history of Canada, with a focus on the period prior to 1967. CWAHI also maintains a consultable Documentation Centre and web-based research tools.
