The Visual Arts Summit
is designed to bring the major players in the visual arts world together to get them talking about improving public appreciation of art, and to improve support for the important role of artists and institutions in society: artists, dealers, collectors, curators, museums, galleries, and other leaders joined the discussion. We thought that the key inspirational words for the development of a visual treatment were: diversity, variety, alive, vivid, evolution, traditional, modern, change, zeitgeist, which lead us to thinking, not about one artist, but about Canadian art at large. Something that would represent Canada's art culture from coast to coast, historically and today. It should be something that does not connect with any one particular artist, but an anonymous 'iconic' Canadian self.
inconcepts came up with a very cool and colourful visual treatment for this event, which included the design of wordmark/logo, stationery, promotional postcards, conference publications, ads, signage, a stand alone internet presence: www.VisualArtsSummit.ca
and a final report in a book format.what the clients say
